Junior Network Administrator Job Openings at BusinessTrends

BusinessTrends is hiring Junior Network Administrators to provide support and assistance to the network infrastructure team in managing the companies wired and wireless network infrastructure and relevant data center equipment and resources.

Other job duties:
  • Provide orientation to new users and or IT staff of the mall IT/Network infrastructure
  • IT Network Infrastructure accessibility and availability
  • Troubleshoot all network and IT facility related issues
  • Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
  • Provide network access to all staff and clients within the organization
  • Connect and set up new network equipment where required
  • Provide network accounts and passwords as required
  • Ensure that physical and logical access to devices are limited to authorized individuals
  • Manage the inventory of network device credentials and passwords
  • Identify and prepare defective hardware for disposal when appropriate
  • Perform other related duties as required during or after working hours, and preventive maintenance schedules

  • Relevant experience in handling wired and wireless enterprise LAN and WAN network solutions, network security solutions (CISCO, FORTINET, PALO ALTO)
  • Minimum CCNA certification, other relevant certifications are welcome
  • Working experience on data center setup and operations
  • Knowledge in wired and wireless network security is a plus
  • Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks
  • Analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Basic MS Office knowledge
  • Effective verbal, presentation and communications skills
