Social Media Specialist Job Openings at ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN is hiring Social Media Specialists to create strategic digital marketing plans, manage the brand's digital platforms, and oversee day-to-day operations.

Other job duties:
  • Create strategic digital marketing plans for METRO brands
  • Handle day-to-day operations of METRO brand's social media accounts
  • Consistently publish engaging and sharable content that encourages participation and audience engagement
  • Liaise with Digital Media Division (DMD), Consumer Marketing, Business Management, editorial teams and sales departments regarding digital marketing plans, initiatives, campaigns and executions
  • Monitor weekly and monthly statistics through Google Analytics
  • Implement and monitor digital branded executions proposed by DMD or closed by Digital Sales
  • Perform other tasks may be required

  • Must have a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or other relevant field or equivalent education and experience
  • Excellent writing skills and editorial judgement, with proven ability to develop and create high-quiality digital media
  • Background in producing and handling a range of content: Text, photos, videos, graphics, multi-media, interactives, tweets, posts, etc.
  • Headline, copyediting, and photo editing experience are required
  • Fluency in social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
