Off-site Social Media Specialist Job Openings at Canva Solutions, Inc.

Canva Solutions, Inc. is hiring Off-site Social Media Specialists to creatively respond to our users’ posts on Canva’s social media accounts: Twitter & Facebook – and ensure that users have a unique and positive user experience.

Other job duties:
  • Monitor other social media accounts: Google+, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Report #CanvaDown occurrences to the Customer Happiness Team Lead and appropriate stakeholders, with the expected level of urgency
  • Occasionally write social media posts – making Canva users aware of current issues and/or updates
  • Escalate customer tickets reported on social media – to the Customer Happiness Team, and ensure that the loop is closed between user and the team
  • Attend regular Skype meeting sessions as scheduled by the Customer Happiness Team Lead
  • Come to the office for scheduled meetings and catch-ups as needed.
  • Provide continuous support and assistance in completion of ad hoc tasks needed by the Customer Happiness team

  • Significant and relevant experience in a social media or customer support role. You’ve managed, boosted, and increased user-engagement for social media accounts previously.
  • Social media expertise – social media savvy who knows the in’s and out’s across various social media sites.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Hootsuite (Canva’s primary social media management tool).
  • Outstanding English proficiency skills — technically strong with a flair for social media content writing.
  • Critical eye for both the overall copy structure and grammatical details.
  • Natural problem-solving ability – Ability to resolve the problem with a sense of urgency to make the customer feel that any concerns they have are valid.
  • Customer Empathy – Ability to step into the user’s shoes and understand the underlying issue/s raised.
  • Availability to work remotely on a rotating shift (day, mid, and night) is required
  • A passion for creativity and design is a definite plus!
  • At least 3 mbps Internet speed & backup connection
