Associate Buyer Job Openings at Cargill

Cargill is hiring associate buyers to coordinate routine procurement activities for one or more locations within a single business with less complex procurement requirements.

Other job duties:
  • Manage/execute procurement transaction processes
  • Manage inventory/procurement records
  • Provide procurement support & planning
  • Manage supplier events & relationships

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain, procurement, or a related degree program
  • At least three (3) year relevant experience in procurement/purchasing handling indirect materials, preferably for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO)
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills
  • High motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to establish common processes
  • Exposure to competitive bidding and contracting
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to project management practices
  • IT skills (basic MS packages)
